To be sure, there are things worth hanging on to—the memory of an exquisite sunset, a record of the funny things your children said when they were young, a side-splitting joke. But just as certainly, there are things that don't warrant even grabbing hold of, much less clinging to. Things like bad memories, pain, and grief. Letting go of such things is solid gain, and doable.
Believing what God's grace has shown you means
At times that adage "Never put off' til tomorrow what you can do today" seems like a rule made to be broken. Add holiness to the equation, however, and it becomes an opportunity for courage, even job.
