Product development and publishing sales professionals needed

The Christian Science Publishing Society is looking for experienced publishing professionals for the General Publications Group:

Sales and Marketing Manager: responsible for increasing sales and marketing results through various sales channels including Christian Science Reading Rooms, licensing contracts, library and book club sales, and possibly the trade. At least 5+ years of book selling and marketing experience, including chains and independents. Rights and special markets experience a plus. Must be creative and articulate, with a proven history of sales growth. College degree in marketing required.

Product Development Manager: responsible for developing products that successfully meet the spiritual needs of mankind and that are "market driven" on the basis of a knowledge of contemporary thought trends. Also develops new material and compiles manuscripts from the Christian Science Sentinel, The Christian Science Journal, and The Herald of Christian Science. Requires a college degree in Biblical Studies, or Journalism, or the equivalent, including at least 8 to 10 years of publishing activity. Strong editorial and writing skills and knowledge of publishing industry standards and procedures are required.

Mother Church membership and Christian Science Primary class instruction are required.
