Popular music, romance novels, magazine articles, television programs, and a host of self-help books testify to humanity's longing for love. Do you feel this desire? Have you ever considered what it would be like to be loved by God, by a love that is literally infinite, truly without limit? The writers in this week's focus show what a difference knowing God's love can make. Elsewhere in the issue. "Mixed marriages and what they show" examines the spiritual basis for love in marriage. And "Do you need more money?" shows how expressing humble gratitude for all that divine Love is providing can have a very practical effect in even the most difficult circumstances.
In the spirit of Christ Jesus' counsel to his followers to "Watch" (the full statement appears on the cover of every issue of this magazine) we were especially glad to receive" 'Never off guard.' " It shows the value of spiritual watching and its relation to healing. And how to watch over our thoughts in a positive, beneficial way is looked at in "Computers, cars, and God's law of harmony." Finally, the editorial this week, "Fired clay and a new dimension," points to the transforming power of God's love—how God actually changes us and makes our lives "new."
