As the Christian world focuses its attention this week on the birth of Jesus, we, too, turn our thought to the timeless significance of this event. Through an examination of Jesus' life, the first article not only reveals the Saviour's profound relevance today but shows that the key to true happiness lies in following his example. The second article zeroes in on the Christ, the divine manifestation of God, so fully demonstrated by Jesus. Through efforts to solve a shipping problem, the author learned of the importance of fastening himself to the rock of Christ, Truth.

From this point on in the issue, we offer you ample evidence of the light of Christ illuminating thought in every corner of the globe. From the safe rescue of a man accidentally buried alive, to the unflagging practice of the Science of Christ, even when the cost for doing so was imprisonment, to one woman's efforts on behalf of the homeless—this special issue illustrates the activity of Christ restoring and transforming human lives.
