One day my family and I went to my dad's friend's house
One day my family and I went to my dad's friend's house. I was getting a little bored, so I thought I might go on a walk. While I was on my walk I felt something sting me on my leg. I ran to my mom, and I felt another sting on my back and my neck. Right at that moment I thought that none of God's creatures could hurt me. Even though I knew this was true, I was still very afraid, because it hurt. About a half hour after that happened we went home.
When we got home I called my grandmother, who is also a Christian Scientist. She gave me some good thoughts to think about. One of the thoughts was that the hurt of the sting is like a magician's trick. You see the sting and you think that it hurts, but it really is not there because man is spiritual.
After I got off the telephone with my grandmother I looked in the Concordance for sting and hurt. Then I looked in Science and Health to see what the author said about them. she said some pretty helpful stuff to think about.
