Letting Love shine out!
The author is an inmate at a correctional facility in the United States. He has been attending Christian Science services in prison and felt moved to write this poem expressing some ideas about how his thinking has changed. He may still be living "inside," but the mental freedom he has gained is joyfully captured in his writing.
I'm gonna let my light shine,
I'm gonna leave the old ways and old thinking behind.
I have chosen "the sustaining infinite"

today.
I'm gonna walk and live by the rules of Principle, God.
I'm gonna show the world today the likeness of Truth, instead of error.
Christ Jesus showed the way to salvation.
I will follow him and will chart my course
based on my Father-Mother God's plan.
By being obedient to Him, I will overcome the errors
and pitfalls along the way.
It's time, and I'm ready to live—to let the love within come out!
To show the world what it's all about!
No more fakes.
No more belief in error.
No more façades,
Living my life for God!
