Empowered by divine intelligence
Many years after I had graduated from college, I found that despite my education, I was feeling inadequate. I decided that I needed more science and math. I began some self-education efforts by reviewing mathematics books and working puzzles.
To my surprise I began to get what I would have to call "revealed" answers. Through the study of Christian Science, I'm learning that intelligence is an entirely spiritual quality. It is of God, divine Mind, and therefore is unlimited. One's individual capacities improve as one gains an understanding of man's relation to divine Mind.
I came to see that God was helping me in the endeavor to learn more of math. This healed the lack of confidence I had been experiencing, even before I attained more proficiency in the math itself. In fact, my journey to understand math was really a journey of spiritual regeneration.
