The Christ does indeed meet every human need, however...
The Christ does indeed meet every human need, however small or serious. Two experiences I had in 1995 I offer with my prayers, hoping they will help my brother man.
Early that year I wrenched my back and so experienced a lot of pain. As I live on my own, coping with everyday life was difficult, to say the least, although I was having loving treatment from a Christian Science practitioner. Of course I was praying very sincerely about this, as well, praying to understand more of divine Principle. Several concepts I thought about relating to spine or back were courage, essence, firmness, stamina, steadfastness. An antonym was weakness! This was food for thought.
I knew God is the source of my strength always. He is my Father-Mother, and I can never be separated from Him for one moment, because there is only the oneness of being. As His beloved child I am "the expression of God's being," as Mrs. Eddy tells us in Science and Health (p. 470). Man is spiritual, perfect, whole, and free. In Miscellaneous Writings Mrs. Eddy also tells us, "... Mind is All-in-all, and there is no matter to cope with" (p. 183).
