Freedom from sexual pressures
It was a nice summer day, and I walked over to a park near the river to read. A friend was there reading, and I sat next to her and began my book.
After a few moments, my friend put her book down and asked me, "Did you ever feel like you had to make a choice?" Somehow, without any further explanation, I knew that she was asking about sex. I felt a deep sense of calm and love toward my friend. It wasn't chance that led me that afternoon to visit this spot by the river. This was a God-directed moment!
My friend detailed her summer experiences with a young man who wanted to spend a great deal of time with her and took every opportunity to be close to her. Now, she said, he wanted to have sex. In fact, she felt she had no choice in the matter and was going to go to his room that night.
