To imagine that something or someone "out there" is responsible for our well-being is to deny God as our source, our provider.
We are, in truth, intimately acquainted with the Love that is God.
If we're tricked into thinking of a symbol of good as the good, itself, we are in effect robbed of both.
Then it hit me. Why not include this unwanted caller in my prayers?
