My love for Christian Science, or maybe I should say God's...
My love for Christian Science, or maybe I should say God's love for me in leading me to Christian Science, has completely changed my life as well as that of my family.
My wife and I, as Christian Scientists, pray daily to help others and to become more Christlike. Helping others also includes helping other creatures, such as our pets.
One morning I looked out into our pasture to see our mare very lame and hobbling on three legs. I went out to her, and a closer examination revealed a severe wound at her fetlock (the area from her hoof to her ankle). She was bleeding profusely and her whole body was shaking violently. This is a horse that would rather be by herself than be around people. At this point, though, she seemed eager for my presence, as though she was reaching for help.
