I am so grateful for the spiritual interpretation of the Lord's Prayer...
I am so grateful for the spiritual interpretation of the Lord's Prayer given in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. The first line on page 16,
"Our Father which art in heaven,
Our Father-Mother God, all-harmonious,"
This truth was evident at the time of "potty training" my daughter. I knew this was a natural, progressive step, although I had often heard of other families having difficulty with it. I followed some suggestions I had read, and she mastered one aspect quickly. When it came to bowel movements, however, there was great resistance. At times, my daughter or I (or both) exhibited impatience, frustration, guilt, resentment, and a desire to control the situation.
