My heart overflows with gratitude to God
My heart overflows with gratitude to God. I have had a lifetime of proofs, not only for myself but for many others, that Christian Science does heal—not only physically but mentally, and in all phases of life and daily experiences.
A recent healing taught me a valuable lesson—namely, that human plans must yield to an earnest desire to let God direct my every step. Let is a spiritual demand that includes within itself the immediacy of fulfillment. Only divine Mind can govern life.
After fifty-five years of an unusually happy marriage, my husband passed on. I am exceedingly grateful that the grief was overcome, as my testimony in September of 1995 reported. But being alone and feeling lost brought an overwhelming sense of self-pity, which was devastating.
