What is right will triumph
As we live our lives, we desire so many things—and I'm not referring to any no-nos. I'm referring to all the good we want and feel is rightfully ours.
There's an interesting Bible verse along this line. "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple" (Ps. 27:4). So the "one thing" to desire, according to the Bible, is to "dwell in the house of the Lord," and for how long? Not just for a moment or two, or when we have a challenge, but for "all the days" of our life.
One way of doing this is to keep our thoughts so attuned to God that we toss out any personal, self-willed opinions we've been holding on to. In this way we have one Mind, God, and "inquire" of Him what is true.
