Troubled? Listen to the Word of God
God doesn't need sound waves or satellite links to express Himself. He communicates by revealing His truths in our consciousness—the truths that meet our needs. God is the supreme intelligence, divine Mind. While these spiritual truths are invisible to the material senses, they are a force to change our life.
If life sometimes seems full of worry fear, if personal or world problems occupy your thought, there is a place of refuge and a solution—in the Word of God.
The Bible, of course, is the precious record of God's Word. It tells of physical and mental health restored, relationships healed, careers elevated, supply provided, and protection in danger, through listening to God's guidance. This spiritual guidance is described as an angel, light, the Holy Ghost, the spirit of the Lord, the Christ. But by whatever name, listening to God's word brought healing and sustained people. "It is written," Christ Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" (Matt. 4:4).
