In 1989 I learned about Christian Science for the first time
In 1989 I learned about Christian Science for the first time. A friend lent me several magazines, which I liked a lot because of their testimonies and articles on healing. I am referring to The Herald of Christian Science.
One day I was suffering a great deal with an earache. I went to visit my friend and told him about this. He told me how one prays in these cases, and I, neither timid nor lazy, began to deny strongly the reality of the pain, without taking any medication. That same day the pain disappeared completely. I was very happy and convinced by this healing.
Knowing that God doesn't make sickness, I continued praying and studying Christian Science; and by my going deeply into this Science, my eyesight was healed, and many warts on my feet also disappeared. The most wonderful thing was that I was healed of headaches that had made me suffer constantly since I was nine years old. Today my health is first-rate.
