Recuperating quickly
COUNTLESS benefits come from knowing something of what Christ Jesus knew about God and about man's relationship to Him. Not the least of these blessings is the divine help one gets in recuperating from human difficulties.
People use the word recuperating in many ways: recovering from financial loss; climbing back to mental stability after emotional challenges; regaining strength after great exertion. But, perhaps most often, recuperating refers to overcoming problems relating to physical health.
The number of individuals in the world right now who need to be restored to health and freedom is great. Many of these people feel that recovery from a serious illness or injury has to be prolonged. By gaining a practical understanding of the spiritual truths Jesus knew and employed so successfully, however, a person can return to physical well-being and normality without a lengthy recuperation.
