A few years ago I received a promotion, necessitating that our family move to Louisville, Kentucky. My husband stayed behind in Texas to sell our home, and our four-year-old daughter and I went on to Louisville.

One night a few weeks after we arrived, my daughter woke up with an itchy rash that was so discomforting she came to my room almost in tears. I really felt I needed help because she was so uncomfortable, so I picked up a copy of The Christian Science Journal and looked in the back for a name of a practitioner in Louisville. I had never needed to call anyone that late before, and was very uneasy about waking up a complete stranger in the wee hours of the morning. However, because of the urgency, I did make the call. The practitioner I reached immediately gave me truths and passages from the Bible and Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy to read. For the first time in a long time, I really got busy and studied. I had tears streaming down my face, and was earnestly praying for God to show me the truth.

Within twenty minutes, my daughter fell into a peaceful sleep, and did not wake up until morning. She got up feeling great, with absolutely no sign of any rash. It was a wonderful testimony of the power of God.
