Recently I was riding my horse with my friend

Recently I was riding my horse with my friend. She asked me if I wanted to canter home. I agreed. She began cantering ahead, and then I started. It was going fine until my horse got out of control and passed my friend's horse.

We came upon a stoplight on a usually busy street, and I just figured my horse would stop there. But to my surprise she kept on going. Fortunately, there were no cars on the street. After we got back on the trail she was still really galloping. I was very frightened, and was just repeating over and over, "Please God, please God." Then I came to a sharp turn in the trail and fell off. My horse continued to run back to the barn, while my friend was coming up behind me. When she saw that I looked all right, she ran to get my mom, who came immediately. She comforted me and calmed me down. I was grateful I was protected. Later I was sore in my lower back and arm, so I thought about these truths: "There is but one primal cause. Therefore there can be no effect from any other cause, and there can be no reality in aught which does not proceed from this great and only cause" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 207). I was also praying with the idea "All is under the control of the one Mind, even God" (Ibid., p. 544), to get rid of the belief of accident.

After a couple of days I was fully healed and was right back on my horse, free of fear and full of joy!
