Another move?
In today's society it's not unusual to find it necessary to move to another city, state, or country. In some cases these may be long-awaited moves. Other moves may seem more tear-filled because we are leaving loved ones or a loved location.
As we listen for God's direction instead of to human willfulness, we don't need to fear future conditions or circumstances concerning a move. There is no sorrow or fear that cannot be replaced by God's undeviating love for His child and the fact that He unfolds all good.
Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy contains this helpful insight for anyone facing change: "Willingness to become as a little child and to leave the old for the new, renders thought receptive of the advanced idea. Gladness to leave the false landmarks and joy to see them disappear,—this disposition helps to precipitate the ultimate harmony" (pp. 323–324). This willingness was a lesson I needed to learn after a recent move related to developments in my husband's career.
