I Would like to share how God has led me to my real home
I Would like to share how God has led me to my real home. Twenty-two years ago my fiancée and I were alone at her parents' home in Industry, Illinois. We were having an argument that seemed as though it might be leading to the end of our relationship. She left the room terribly upset, and I found myself in great distress. The love that I had enjoyed so much with her was the deepest love I had ever experienced.
With my face in my hands and my eyes closed, I cried out in deep despair, "Won't someone help me?" The reason I used the term someone was that I did not know God at that time; but this was about to change, for God, who truly is divine Love, revealed Himself to me through the fourth Psalm. The Psalmist was also apparently in distress when he was moved to write, "Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord" (verse 5). This psalm became to me the first step toward a life that leads onward and upward, to where God is known, and we are known as His children.
In a few months my fiancée and I were indeed married, and have since had three children. I continue to admire her fine qualities, and we enjoy seeing the qualities of God's goodness that our children reflect.
