A true friend
This poem was sent to the Publishing Society with a note from the author, who said she just had to say "thank you" for the Sentinel.
For the weekly visits that you give me—
Refreshing my heart with divine ideas;
Removing my doubts and fears;
Speaking to me as a child of God;
Lifting my thoughts from sense to Soul;
Revealing a vision of true holiness,
Of man made in God's image and likeness—
Sentinel of Christian Science, I thank you.
