Tributes to World Monitor: The Christian Science Monitor Monthly
With the final issue of World Monitor coming off the press in May 1993, an outpouring of appreciation was received by the magazine's editors. As World Monitor's Editor in Chief, Earl Foell, observed in his closing column: "We tried to clarify global events—political, economic, scientific, artistic, and individual—which might have some lasting impact on your life and that of future generations." The magazine accomplished that—and much more.
