A dad we know who's a Christian Scientist tells us that whenever he's at home working on his computer, one of his children interrupts him—always for the same reason. She wants him to write on the computer the way she has prayed about something. She's in kindergarten and needs Dad to help her. Here's just one example:

"One day I was outside helping my mom weed. I was singing while I was standing on the curb. I fell down and hurt my knee. I went to tell my dad. We talked about 'the scientific statement of being' from Science and Health
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 468 .  and that I have freedom from being hurt. Do you know what? I went back outside and prayed about this. I thought more about how God gives me freedom. And I felt a lot better then. I didn't even look at my knee until two days later. Now I'm OK." ...

This is a simple healing told from a child's perspective, but already she knows the power of God to heal. In the pages of this week's Sentinel, you'll see how women, men, and children of all ages are discovering the blessings that come from turning to God's law of healing in any circumstance.
