Time pressure or God's unlimited goodness?

You don't have to be victimized by time limits. Prayer can open your view to God's boundless love and perfect direction.

My heart sank when I discovered that I had made a fundamental mistake in some of my calculations. I had been working on a project for a month and a half, and I was preparing to present the results at a scientific conference the next week. What was I to do? How could I redo the work in such a short time?

Most of us, at least occasionally, face time pressures when we're trying to do good work within deadlines. Can we reasonably expect to maintain quality, or must we reconcile ourselves to second-rate or even faulty work?

When it seems that time is short, we don't have to accept inferior work as inevitable. Through prayer, time limitations can be overcome. Prayer? How can this help? We might concede that prayer could make us a little calmer in adversity, but can it really help us in a practical way? I have found that prayer, as taught in Christian Science, provides more than just peace of mind; it leads to practical solutions to our problems.
