Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy states: "Truth is revealed. It needs only to be practised." Over the many years that I have been a student of Christian Science I have come to realize that there can be no other way for me. God is my salvation and my Life. There have been many proofs of God's care and protection, as well as health restored, through the study and application of spiritual truths.

The training I received as a pupil in a Christian Science Sunday School sustained and healed me during a period when I doubted this Science and my own ability to prove it. We read in Science and Health, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."

One evening while I was visiting friends, I began to have severe chest pains. My friends insisted on taking me to a nearby hospital. On the way I prayed silently, affirming that God is supreme and omnipotent. By the time we got to the hospital, the pains had subsided. The doctor who examined me said that I had had a heart attack. Then I was released.
