For children
One thing Ernie knew
Most children know they are good, and most children love to play. That's the way Ernie was, too. He was a happy boy. He laughed a lot, and Peter and Wilson and Andrew always asked him to come out to play with them.
One thing Ernie knew was what was really true about himself. That means he knew why he was good. It's because God keeps all His children that way.
On the first day of kindergarten, Ernie woke up with the jitters. That's when you feel scary inside. Ernie's tummy felt awful, and he even got sick.
