Our four-year-old daughter has always been very receptive...
Our four-year-old daughter has always been very receptive to the spiritual truths we have shared with her from the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. She frequently asks questions about Christ Jesus and Mrs. Eddy. She is most interested in what they did when they were children. She also asks about various Bible characters and their stories.
About a year ago our daughter, Shelaine, came to me one night to tell me that her leg itched. There was a small rash there, and we talked about the fact that she was truly the perfect, spiritual child of God and couldn't experience anything that wasn't good.
Sometime the next day, we found that the rash was covering her whole body. She expressed no fear or agitation about this, because she has always been very firm that if there is ever a difficulty, God will heal it. Her father and I also approach our problems with an understanding of the ever-presence and all-power of God.
