Finding a lasting homeland
In a world where so many people can't go "home" again, there is a solution to our longing for our homeland. It comes to us through Christ—God's message of love to mankind.
[Original in German]
When we go to ethnological museums we often find maps depicting the movements of entire peoples in past centuries. Only rarely when we are looking at them do we realize what human struggles were associated with those movements.
In our time, too, individuals and entire peoples are on the move. In many cases, inhabitants have fled from the conflict of war or are displaced after a war is lost. Some will have given up all they have, and they may be left with a deep longing for their old, beloved homeland.
