FROM HAND TO HAND

The Sentinel is meant to be shared. In a world that is increasingly hungry for spiritual meaning, the Sentinel is vital food. Here's how our readers share it.Let us know of your experience in sharing the Sentinel .

"When my sister was in her ninetieth year, she moved to a retirement home, but didn't really feel 'at home' there. She often visited me for long weekends. After one of those visits she went upstairs to get her bag. Some time later she came downstairs, apologizing for taking so long: 'I picked up a Sentinel and couldn't put it down until I finished the articles.' I asked her if she'd like a gift subscription, and she said yes.

"I just can't help noting that since becoming a Sentinel reader, she has become far happier and more grateful. She told me that she now feels at home where she is and has begun to enjoy participating in various activities with other residents. She mentioned that the Sentinel has 'so many good articles.' "
