When heart meets heart
The common language of mutual understanding develops as we learn the spiritual basis of our unity with God.
Recently , within a few days, I met a man from Zimbabwe, sat next to a Vietnamese on a plane trip, conversed with a college student from India and a woman spearheading civil rights activities in the United States. How graphically these encounters reminded me of Scriptural passages that cite the brotherhood of man. "Ye are all the children of God.... Ye are all one in Christ Jesus." Gal. 3:26, 28.
Even the resolve to take a stand against bigotry fuels the flame of spiritual caring.
