Creativity
I read your poem and I marvel
at the gracious flow of thought
the healing tone
the bright precision of your diction
and think that I could never match
such gentle ingenuity.
On further thought I am reminded
there is only one creator
dividing severally to every man
His rich diversity of gifts.
No theory of genes or human genius
can clarify the mystery
of veritable art.
Rereading in this light
I find your message full of Soul's uplifting,
sense the presence of the Christ
and know your talent lies in tender listening.
