When I was a little girl I used to ride my bicycle up to a church, go in the back door, and "talk with God." This was a great help to me then. Not until I was in college did I learn of Christian Science. When I did, I knew this Science was the way of Life for me, because I found answers to my theological and ethical questions, and there was substance behind those answers.
In the early days of my study, simply through my reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, some large, abnormal lumps on my legs, disappeared. This healing came as I was beginning to perceive my true nature as the spiritual image of God. Over the years, as evidence of God's law, there have been many other healings.
When our second child was born, he was blue, not breathing, and it was thought he might not live. This was a time for spiritual strength. I stood solidly on the spiritual truth that God is the only Life and that this child, as God's spiritual idea, was the very expression of Life. Soon he was breathing.
