Rich looked forward to Little League practice. The coach said he had a good arm because he could throw the baseball from center field all the way to home plate.
But one day while Rich and some teammates were warming up, one of the boys swung the bat wildly around and accidentally hit Rich in the arm.
The boy was sorry, but that didn't make the hurt go away. Rich was angry. He wouldn't be able to stay for practice and he was afraid he might not even be able to play for the rest of the season.
