I Don't know where I would be without Christian Science

I Don't know where I would be without Christian Science. What I do know is that Science was an anchor to my two young children and me at a very difficult time in our lives. Christian Science showed me that we never truly can be separated from God and His love. I held strongly to this fact during the troubled time, and we were blessed.

I grew up as a pupil in a Christian Science Sunday School. However, after marriage, I realized my husband was strongly opposed to Christian Science and would not allow me to practice it. So I decided to try to get along without it.

When the marriage failed after nine years, I turned to Christian Science once again. The children eagerly soaked up the spiritual truths they were being taught in a Christian Science Sunday School. They had had no religious upbringing until this time. At ages seven and eight they were the first to experience healings in Christian Science and to tell about them at the Wednesday evening testimony meetings in the branch church we attended. I slowly followed their lead. As a Bible verse says (Isa. 11:6), "And a little child shall lead them."
