A little light
Like a first star,
A first faint glimmer of dawn,
On the opening of a long-closed shutter—
Comes the vision
Of what life truly rests on.
Then we see with fresh sight,
In ever-growing brightness
A new and glorious day.
Truth is being revealed
The Christ way.
However long darkness seemed to reign,
Banished is the night
When understanding that God is All
Begins with
A little light.
