Our family was blessed beyond words when an acquaintance of my mother's introduced her to Christian Science while my sisters and I were very young. After my mother became interested in Christian Science, we children were never again given medicine.

When, as an adult, I returned to visit the hometown where we had grown up, I met a former neighbor who had become a student of Christian Science. She told me she had turned to this Science in a time of great illness and despair. She had remembered that as a young girl she had often seen doctors going to our house, but that after our family had turned to Christian Science there had been no more doctors' calls; and we had become a healthy and active family. Now, over half a century later, my sisters and I continue to enjoy active and joyous lives.

After marriage, my four sons were all born quickly and harmoniously. My pregnancies were really times of spiritual unfoldment, rather than simply periods of waiting. Deep study of the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings helped me gain a better understanding of true spiritual creation.
