My prayer

Shirley Rose Jarnagin

I prayed today.
All I said was "LORD."

And Listened,
Listened,
Listened.

The answer came.
"Do this."
"Do that."
"Stop."
"Go."
That was all I needed to know.

I obeyed,
and whispered ...
"Thank You."
