Introduction to a more accurate view of God in Christian Science came through Christian Scientist friends. As a young wife and mother, I turned wholeheartedly to regular daily study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, for healing of tension, depression, lack of employment and finances, and an inharmonious marital relationship.
As a result of this study, a career that I was to follow successfully for eighteen years opened up in music education. I was never absent from my job because of illness.
