Trusting God, go forward!

Below,
The snow, thigh-high,
Unyielding in the winter sun.

Above,
The leafless rowans
Hanging thick with scarlet clusters.

Suddenly,
In whirring, wheeling flock
The waxwings—
Heads crested, silky breasted,
Gold-tipped tails fanning—
Light
To claim the feast.

On fading winter's journey homeward
With certainty of summer's shining,
Take wing,
Claim Love's supply,
Trust Life's eternal spring!
