An irrepressible desire to know
How do you know?
That surely is a common question. There is something in us that wants to know. It's an urge for knowledge, a desire to understand, an intuitive feeling that senses not knowing isn't the finale.
The urge exists at every level of our lives. Even in something as simple as wanting to know a neighbor better, or to know who our neighbors are when we move to a new community, there is evidence of this inner, spiritual need to move toward understanding.
