Lynn leaned over the seat and patted Missy's dark, soft fur. Her cat lay curled up, purring contentedly, next to the picnic basket in the back of the station wagon.

"I'm glad we could bring her along on our picnic," Lynn said.

Mother smiled. "I believe you'd take her to the moon if we were going that way!"
