"God is able"!
What would happen if we always had that declaration of the Apostle Paul uppermost in our thoughts: "God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work"? II Cor. 9:8.
For one thing, we would be unperturbed by evidence of disease or the probability of its tenacity or incurability. We would approach spiritual healing with the confidence that a woman exhibited on a television program when asked if it would be correct to say that she thought the civic project she was promoting would be successful. She replied, "No, it would not be correct to say that I think the project will succeed. I'm absolutely sure of it!"
Paul's absolute certainty of God's supremacy was proved in his life and ministry. In following Christ Jesus' command to heal the sick, he saw himself and others engaged in this sacred work as not depending on their own personal abilities but as leaning on God and drawing on His power.
