Spiritual compassion heals!
Compassion takes on new meaning in the light of Christian Science. In its purest sense, compassion is characterized by a willingness to let God do the healing work—and an uncompromising assurance that He does. But we don't stand idle in the meantime: our part is to actively witness His healing love.
The most effectual human means of bearing witness to God's omnipresence and omnipotence is prayer. Prayer isn't just putting thoughts and desires into words. It is reaching out to God with the entire heart and soul and recognizing His supreme, omniscient control. Our day-to-day lives can actually be individual prayer put into practice.
