Testimony of healing
At first he felt stranded,
Like a small boat, mast tipped,
Lying in mud at low tide.
A burden too heavy to lift.
Then, as if hearing the distant strength of the sea,
The surge of promise, God with us,
He knew the answer.
Steadily, inexorably, the healing tide of Spirit
Touched, stirred, cradled him.
Love, buoyant with power, flooded round him,
Lifting him—free!
