Decision

EVELYNNE B. SMITH

Matter says, Lean on me,
trust me, love me
and my world is yours!

Matter's world is mine?
What would I win
but a dissolving dream?

Better far to lose faith
in what is destined to fade
and keep the spiritual sense

of all that is forever—
the kingdom of heaven
God gives to His son.

I'll lean on the Father,
trust substance, love Spirit,
and Truth's world is mine.
