What greater opportunity can a child have than the joy and privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School? I continue to be increasingly grateful for the priceless gift of Sunday School training that I enjoyed from the age of eight to twenty.

My mother's entry into Christian Science came about in this way. She was suffering with nervous prostration, and the doctors my parents consulted said her only hope was to be treated in a sanitarium. Even then they could give no real assurance that a cure would be effected. My father was willing to do or try anything to help my mother regain her health. He told one of his co-workers about my mother's condition. This was surely the result of following God's direction, for the co-worker's wife was a Christian Science practitioner.

At the co-worker's suggestion, Mother went to the practitioner and asked for help through prayer. In a very short time Mother was completely healed. She gained back the weight she had lost, her cheeks had color, and her whole being was transformed. She began the study of Science in earnest, and shortly thereafter she laid aside glasses she had worn for many years, for she could see perfectly without them. She began attending church services regularly and became a dedicated worker in the local branch Church of Christ, Scientist.
