One time while visiting friends in another city, I woke in the middle of the night with severe congestion and great pressure and pain in my head. Also my face was swollen and my eyes were bothering me. Then the belief of allergy came to mind.

The study of Christian Science had deepened my understanding of God and man, and given me the wisdom to know what thoughts were healthful and of God and what thoughts were not. An allergy was certainly not of God, and therefore belief in it needed to be cast out. In doing so, I recognized my God-given dominion and took refuge in the sanctuary of Spirit. I saw that I, God's man, was not material but spiritual because I was God's own image and likeness. This prayerful work brought immediate results. Both eyes opened, and my vision was perfect. Also my head was clear.

I had just had an instantaneous healing, depending solely on God as understood in Christian Science! Oh, yes, I have had many healings in Science, but this one was especially wonderful.
