FOR CHILDREN
Angela's blessings
Angela liked the new house and her own room. She liked the children in her new neighborhood, especially Sarah and Cindy. They were bigger than Angela, but they let her play their games most of the time.
One sunny spring afternoon, Angela was playing follow-the-leader with the big girls. They jumped on the tree stump and ran around the sandbox. They crawled up the steep lawn and climbed the stone wall between the yards.
Angela loved walking on the wall with her arms out to keep her balance. But suddenly her foot slipped on a wet place. She fell smack on her bottom.
