Knowing God brings security

In a world where uncertainties greet one in so many directions, there's both comfort and security to be found in the knowledge of God's unfailing presence. The Bible assures us, "Whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe."^{Prov. 29:25.} When we understand the all-loving God to be unalterable Principle, governing His creation through unchanging law that we can rely upon, we have a basis for proving that God is our strength and protection, even in the midst of trouble.

God is Mind, infinite intelligence; it follows that this loving intelligence is manifested in His government of all that He creates. Since God is perfect Love, He is pure and unalloyed good, producing only good in man and for man. The omnipotence and omnipresence of an infinite God mean that, no matter where we are, we can never be separated from His protecting power.

In the following words the Discoverer of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, sets forth the absolute truth of man's real being and indicates the practical application of this truth to human needs: "Immortal man, in God's likeness, is safe in divine Science. Mortal man is saved on this divine Principle, if he will only avail himself of the efficacy of Truth, and recognize his Saviour."^{Miscellaneous Writings, pp. 89-90.}
